Copilot
Access Copilot anywhere on the canvas in Word for the web
Now, you can access Copilot in the middle or end of a paragraph in a document in Word for the web. Read more.
Availability: Expanded access to Copilot on the canvas is available to Word for the web users with a Copilot license (get more details on licenses for consumers and for businesses).
Streamline meeting management with Copilot
Planning, organizing, and getting the most out of work or personal meetings is no issue with Copilot. Read more.
Availability: All Microsoft 365 users
Enhanced data control while submitting Microsoft 365 Copilot feedback
Copilot diagnostic logs allows admins to choose what they share with Microsoft when submitting feedback on Copilot, protecting sensitive and confidential data. Read more.
Availability: This capability is currently available to all customers with a valid Microsoft 365 Copilot license within the Microsoft 365 admin center.
Excel
Search and import data with Copilot in Excel
Copilot in Excel can reference Word, PowerPoint, PDF documents, and other Excel files to pull and analyze data. Read more.
Availability: This feature is available to Beta Channel users who meet the requirements outlined above and are running:
- Windows: Version 2503 (Build 17729.20000) or later.
- Mac: Version 16.87 (Build 24053110) or later.
This update to Copilot in Excel will become available to Excel for the web users in the near future.
Teams
Try the new flow for Together mode in Teams meetings
The new flow for Together mode allows you to preview the meeting setup before participants arrive. Read more.
Availability: To use this new feature, you need to be a member of the Teams Public Preview or Microsoft 365 Targeted release and use the new Teams client on Windows or Mac.
Word
Add custom tables to Word for Android and iOS documents
You can now customize the number of rows and columns before adding a table. Read more.
Availability: Custom tables are currently being rolled out to Word users using an Android phone or iPhone and running:
- Android: Build 16.0.18224.41005 or later
- iOS: Version 2.89 (Build 24082417) or later
Custom tables are not currently available on Android tablets and iPad.
Outlook
Recall emails in Outlook for Mac
The ability to recall emails, a feature many of you love, is now available in Outlook for Mac. Read more.
Availability: This feature is available to Beta Channel users running Version 16.94 (Build 25011325) or later, and will be rolling out to Current Channel (Preview) users from February 2025.
Minimize email drafts in Outlook for Android and iOS to easily task switch
Minimize an email draft in Outlook to a handy area on mobile if you want to briefly go to your calendar or other emails. Read more.
Availability: This feature is available to Android Beta users running version 4.2447.0 or later of the app, and iOS TestFlight users running version 4.2449.0 or later. This feature is beginning to roll out to production users.
Try out fonts in Outlook for Android and iOS
Want to make writing emails on mobile more expressive? Now you can change the font of your text! Read more.
Availability: Fonts are available to Android Beta users running version 4.2427.0 or later of the app, and iOS TestFlight users running version 4.2442.0 or later. We are slowly rolling this feature out to production users running version 4.2452.0 or later in order to monitor bugs and feedback.
Recall emails in Outlook for Android and iOS
Retract an email from all recipient’s inboxes after you’ve hit send, now on mobile, too! Read more.
Availability: This feature is expected to be available to Android Beta and iOS TestFlight users running app version 4.2504.0 or later starting in late February 2025.
Delivery and read receipts in Outlook for Android and iOS
Request delivery or read receipts, or respond to a request from someone else, in Outlook on your mobile device. Read more.
Availability: This feature is available to users running:
- Android Beta: Version 4.2439.0 or later.
- iOS TestFlight: Version 4.2437.0 or later.
This feature is expected to start rolling out to Production users soon.
