Cloud Computing นั้นช่วยให้ธุรกิจทั่วโลกประสบความสำเร็จในการทำ digital transformation จาก[บล็อกโพสต์ของ Google Cloud](https://cloud.google.com/blog/products/infrastructure/announcing-new-google-cloud-regions-in-asia-pacific) ทาง IDC คาดว่ายอดใช้จ่ายทั้งหมดสำหรับบริการคลาวด์ในเอเชียแปซิฟิก (ไม่รวมญี่ปุ่น) จะพุ่งสูงถึง 2.82 แสนล้านเหรียญสหรัฐ ภายในปี 2568 เพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการต่อบริการคลาวด์ที่เพิ่มขึ้นในเอเชียแปซิฟิก Google ประกาศแผนการลงทุนเพื่อเปิด cloud region ในมาเลเซีย ไทย และ นิวซีแลนด์ บริษัทขนาดใหญ่ และภาครัฐ สามารถนำความสามารถของบริการ Google Cloud จากภูมิภาคคลาวด์ในพื้นที่ที่มีประสิทธิภาพสูงและมีความหน่วงต่ำ ซึ่งจะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อองค์กรในแง่ของการรักษาความปลอดภัยสูงสุด ถิ่นที่อยู่ของข้อมูล และมาตรฐานการปฏิบัติตามข้อกำหนด รวมถึงข้อกำหนดในการจัดเก็บข้อมูลเฉพาะ Google Cloud region ในประเทศไทยนั้นจะช่วยให้องค์กรทุกรูปแบบ ตั้งแต่สตาร์ทอัพ ธุรกิจขนาดเล็กและขนาดกลาง
