# Unveiled at Google I/O: The Next Generation of Generative AI Media Models on Vertex AI

[At Google I/O](https://io.google/2025/), Google Cloud has raised the bar for its generative AI capabilities with the introduction of the latest media models, [Imagen 4](https://deepmind.google/models/imagen/), [Veo 3](https://deepmind.google/models/veo/), and [Lyria 2](https://deepmind.google/models/lyria/) which are now available on [Vertex AI](https://cloud.google.com/vertex-ai?hl=en). These powerful updates empower creators to generate the highest quality images, videos, and audio content using AI.
### **Imagen 4: Next Level of Image Generation**
Google has introduced Imagen 4, its highest-quality text-to-image generation model, now available in public preview on Vertex AI.
**Key improvements:**
- Outstanding text rendering with improved alignment to prompt instructions
- Enhanced image quality
- Supporting global creators with multiple languages prompts
### **Veo 3: Higher-quality video generation with audio and speech**

- Improved quality of video output
- Natural-sounding speech synthesis
- Richer audio quality, such as music and sound effects
- All of this is generated simply from a text prompt
### Lyria 2: Dynamic and Customizable Music Generation
Lyria, Google’s text-to-music model was announced at Google Cloud Next 2025. Google Cloud has updated the latest version with higher quality audio and control.

- Higher quality audio output from simple text prompts
- More control over musical elements like instruments, BPM, and arrangement
- Greater creative flexibility for composers
