Google Cloud has announced the addition of new regions to the Asia-Pacific region, namely Malaysia, Thailand, and New Zealand.

Google recently announced the plan of launching the new cloud region to Malaysia, Thailand, and New Zealand which will join Google Cloud’s 11 existing regions across Asia Pacific and Japan as well as 34 existing regions worldwide.
The Google Cloud region in Thailand will enable all sizes of local organizations including startups, small and medium businesses, large enterprise companies as well as the public sectors to apply capabilities of Google Cloud services from the local cloud region with high-performance and low-latency. This will benefit organizations in terms of maintaining the highest security, data residency, and compliance standards, including specific data storage requirements.
